Put the right foot forward…

Pain.

A somatic sensation of acute discomfort.

Of all the feelings that humans are capable of experiencing, pain is something that has always had some enigma surrounding it. Pain and pleasure are great friends. And they give equal chance to each other.

A few weeks back, every morning that i used to wake up and touch the cold, indifferent floor barefoot,  streaks of razor sharp sensation used to pass up from my left foot to the spine. The pain was excruciating.

The ritual continued till recently before i found a way of tackling it.

I made a contract with pain. I tried to undertand it and the pain appreciated it in return. Sometimes i used to find pleasure in it; pushing myself to the limit of exercising the ankle which in the first place was meant to reduce it.No pain is bad enough. There is always the next level. Befriend the pain and make it understand that it has to go…i hope it applies to the other sort of pain as well…if you know what i mean.

With time and homeopathy i hope to end this contract soon.
