Naak ke baal and izzat ke faloodey : 2 questions

1. What according to you should be more important: Individualism or Sacrifice for the family and society?

2. Is being born as a girl still a road block for making one’s own decisions?

I would love to hear from you and considering the traffic on my blog is not much, i would want each one of you who reaches this page to comment on atleast one question.

    1. Individualism, but always with responsibility.
    2. No. As a woman, I dare to make my own decisions.

girls CAN make their own decisions…

    they have the ability,yes…

but maybe it has been hindered by culture…

so i guess it’s a matter of where you are from and what they believe in there…

    1. individualism…….. (once the family realises u wont budge from what you are doing they will respect your individualism…and society….dont care about them…..they speak against you until nothing happens at their front , then they wont budge and stay hidden in their burrows for ages :))

(dont believe in Sacrifice -> once you do it you will never be able to life ur life ever on ur own terms!!!!
although i did it ….. sacrificed my love for our respective family. i m not happy doing it 😦 )

    2. Girls have the right to make their own decisions almost everywhere in the world …except for some place or countries….
And it is in these places that being a girl is the biggest SIN on this earth. you need to do everything according to ur parents until u r not married and once married u r the slave of ur husband and his family……
but there are changes in that pattern also although very very slow….
hope even we get a chance to b proud of being girls.. 🙂

      Thanks dks…

Although i liked every single word you wrote in your comment, i hate to say this that in a country like ours it is very difficult to not to make the ‘sacrifice’. We live in a make believe society that does not let yourself to be what you really are. This i think is not going to change for a long time to come…atleast in some communities…

Keep visiting. Let me know if you write as well.

Why is it necessory for the individualism to contradict with the family and society…….
Both are equally imporatant as individualism is the child of the family and society, we grow with…
Let them be complimentry and you have the solution…

for the second question, I will say it depends on the decisions…
If decisions are good enough, there will not be any roadblock….
and for wrong decisions … there should be a road block .. no matter if the decision maker is of either sex……
